On the first day of this trip, you will arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station from where you will be driven to Shillong. On way, you will notice the magnificent rolling hills and verdant valleys welcoming you. You will stop by the famous Umiam Lake to get enthralled by the beatific surroundings. After checking in your hotel and refreshment, you will visit Ward’s Lake and the Cathedral of Mary’s Help for the Christians. The rest of the evening is for your relaxation and unwinding at the hotel.
Get ready to be charmed by the unique natural beauty of Meghalaya on the second day of your trip. After breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Cherrapunji. You will stop at Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, and Mawdak Valley. After a dose of breathtaking views, you will resume your drive to reach Cherrapunji to see Seven Sister’s Falls and Waha Kaba Fall Falls Post lunch, you will visit Arwah Cave and Mawsmai Cave, followed by check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.
On the third day of your trip, you will leave for Dawki after breakfast. Dawki is a small town on the border of India and Bangladesh. Here, you will see the famous suspension bridge over the Umngot River. You are bound to be amazed at the cleanliness of this river and if you choose to go for a boat ride, you will easily be able to see the bottom of the river through its crystal clear water. Your next destination will be Asia’s cleanest village- Mawlynnong where you can take a stroll and be inspired by the lifestyle of the locals. Post lunch, you will visit Riwai village and witness the grandeur of Single Decker Living Root Bridge. Finally, you will return for an overnight stay at Mawlynnong.
Early morning after breakfast, process to Juwai. Go for a visit to KrangSuri waterfall, Tryshi waterfall, and Phe Phe fall Grand Latlum Canyon. Then drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong
After breakfast drive for the sightseeing local Don Wasco museum, Cathedral Church, Ladyhadry Park, and wards lake, and transfer to Guwahati drop at the airport/railway station.
